Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Good morning! Is there anything better than fresh from the oven banana bread? I made a few of these loafs this morning using a new recipe and they are scrumptious. Normally I tweak around with the recipes I find but this one was perfect.

As the recipe is protected by copyright I will not post it here but if you are interested do hop over to one of my favorite blogs Crumb which is where I found it.

Crumb is a wonderful blog that is written by Isabelle Boucher. The blog is witty, beautifully written and filled with recipes for sweet as well as savory dishes.

Enjoy your day!

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

Are you a fan of chocolate chip cookies? I am and count them as my all time favorite cookie to bake and eat.

In fact I have made a few different kinds here on this blog.  Double Chocolate Chip Cookies shown above were the first time I had made veered from a standard chocolate chip cookie, My thought was how can you improve on the perfect cookie? Let me tell you, that the addition of rich, melted, dark chocolate does make the cookie better!

I also experimented with The "Best" Chocolate Chip Cookie EVER recipe and it ranks right up there with the Best I have ever made, in fact the people I made these cookies for said that they were the BEST chocolate chip cookie they ever had.

Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies was another new twist for me and to be honest, they are delicious! If I do say so myself.

Do you have any favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes? Please share them with me I love to learn new recipes.

Have a Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup No Bake Cookies

This post contains affiliate links.

Good morning! I have probably mentioned this before, I like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups , but I LOVE Reese's Easter Peanut Butter Eggs, and hearts, and pumpkins and any other shape. To me they taste better than regular peanut butter cups, they seem thicker and the chocolate is softer.

Consequently whenever there is a holiday, I buy and eat so many of these shapes I almost make myself sick. Leaving me with a bag or two or three leftover...what to do? Throw them in any of your favorite recipes.

In this case, I used my tried and true No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie which I posted about HERE, and just added a cup and a half of chopped up peanut butter eggs. I do not think I will be making them the old way again.

I love these, the extra burst of peanut butter cup/egg chunks is pure bliss. Now, if peanut butter is not your cup of tea, hop over to my other blog, Pine Cones and Acorns where I made these fabulous Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Whichever of these scrumptious recipes you make I would love to hear about it! I hope you have a fabulous week!
