Chocolate Brownie Cookies

Hello! Happy Sunday!

I have been baking a bunch of great things lately and these brownie cookies are just one of them . Let me tell you, if you are a fan of brownies and rich, chocolaty cookies than these are something you want to make. The cookies are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. These cookies are FABULOUS and might just be the best chocolate cookie I have ever made.

Brownie Cookies
adapted from Southern Living Magazine

1/2 cup better
4 (1oz) squares of semisweet chocolate, chopped
3 cups of semisweet chocolate chips, divided
11/2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 lag eggs
11/2 cups of sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine butter, chocolate, and 11/2 cups of chocolate chips in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter and chocolate are melted. LET COOL.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.

Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla on medium speed with and electric mixer. Gradually add dry ingredients to the egg mixture. Then add the COOLED chocolate mixture and beat well. Add chocolate chips and stir.

Scoop onto baking sheets 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool slightly on the baking sheet then remove to wire racks to cool.

Are you a fan of chocolate? And brownies? Do you think that you might try these tasty cookies? I hope that if you do you come back and let me know, I would love to know what you think?

Have a great day! Enjoy your family and friends!

Try not to eat them all in one sitting!

I don't know what I did wrong, but these were a big flop. They tasted AMAZING! But they didn't set up and wouldn't come off the pan without falling apart. I'm going to scrape off what I haven't taken off yet and use it all to make a trifle. But I'm disappointed that I don't have cookies. Yours are so pretty. Mine, not so much.
